Who is the Pastor of RiverCity Community Church?

James Carpenter is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a degree in Political Science. He began his ministry as a youth pastor for four years and then served as a pastor at a local church in the area.

In response to the rapidly growing area of east Hamilton County and the need for an innovative church that would make a positive impact on its growing community, James felt God leading him to start RiverCity Community Church. RiverCity became a reality in May of 1998 and had it’s grand opening to the public in March 1999. It is our prayer that God will use us to help others experience His love.
